Terms & Conditions 2010
Please make
sure you agree with my Terms and Conditions below before work
commences.
A signature will be required.
1) Payment for websites
totalling £200 and above must be settled within 14 days of the
date of invoice.
2) Payment for websites £199.99 and under must
be settled within 5 days of receipt of invoice.
3) If you require a website with a lot of
images that you wish to change every week or month if you
contact me I will be more than happy to come up with a package.
4) All material, both text and images,
supplied by the customer and used in the construction of the
customers' website, will remain the customers' property.
All such material will be assumed to be the property of the
customer and will cover our self with regards to breach of
copyright laws. On some occasions written permission may
need to be supplied before some material is used.
5) If a customer wishes for us to maintain or update a website once it has been constructed then further fees will be issued. We will be happy to make small amendments like text and the first 5 images free of charge as stated on PRICES page.
6) If at any point during the construction process the customer wishes to cancel they may do so but will be invoiced an amount that we judge to be proportional to the amount of work completed.
7) We will initially place the customers' web site on a demonstration server in order that the customers' may view and comment upon the project. Once the client has approved the project, a final invoice will be presented.
8) We will submit a customers' website to one of the major search engines for a further fee which will be invoiced on a monthly basis. We will make every reasonable effort to promote the website effectively first before we recommend any fee being charged, but cannot guarantee high placings in search engine results.
9) A minimum deposit of 35% must be paid before work commences.
10) If you wish to have a link on your website to another's company / organisation you must provide me with a letter giving permission or details for me to gain permission before the link is added.
11) Any website designed by Gary Bray Web Design remains our property until FULL payment has been received.
12) We cannot be held reasonable for any errors on every website we construct. It is the customers' duty to check for errors before the website is uploaded.
13) At project acceptance Gary Bray Web Design can provide an estimated completion date, however we cannot guarantee this date as a final completion date. We will do our very best to keep to this date though.
14) Once a project has commenced the website will be completed using the information, data, text and images provided at project commencement or during the design phase. Once the design process has been completed the project will be presented to the customer who may make any changes to design and content if they wish.
15) Once an invoice has been issued payment is due within 14 days of the dated invoice. No further work will be carried out until invoice has been paid. If payment exceeds 28 days I reserve the right to take your website offline. If payment isn't received after 48 days then 5% fee will be added to your reminder invoice. If paying by cheque we reserve the right to wait for cheque to clear before commencing further work. ( 5 days )
16) When
constructing a website if you require more than 20 images you
will be charged £1.50 per image thereafter and a further £1.50
if you require a enlarged view in a pop up window or just a pop
up window itself.
17) A customers' site will be hosted once approval of the
design and content is given however we reserve the right to
remove the site at any time until the invoice is paid in full.
18) Every
effort is made to display the pages constructed acceptably on
the most popular browsers currently available, however we cannot
accept responsibility for pages which don’t display properly on
versions of browsers released after the project is completed.
19) The customer is ultimately responsible for checking the
accuracy of the site before they give us permission to make the
site publicly available.
20) When a customer agrees that a site can be made publicly
available they are agreeing that the design and development of
the site has satisfied all their requirements.
